Brand

@brandkit/brand

The /brand command: make whatever you are working on match your brand. It finds your brand guide (or helps you write one), then fixes colors, fonts, logo use, voice, and spacing in a page, CSS, deck outline, email, or social post, and lists every change it made.

  1. 1# /brand
  2. 2
  3. 3Type `/brand` and whatever you are working on gets your colors, fonts, logo rules, voice, and spacing, with a clear list of every change. Works on web pages, CSS and Tailwind, emails, social posts, and deck outlines.
  4. 4
  5. 5**Who it is for:** anyone who makes things faster than a designer can review them. Founders, marketers, and developers building landing pages.

  7. 7## Example
  8. 8
  9. 9You are editing a pricing page and type `/brand`.
  10. 11Before:
  11. 13```css
  12. 14.cta { background: #1e7b5d; font-family: "Playfair Display"; padding: 18px; }
  13. 15```
  14. 17```text
  15. 18Revolutionary scheduling that leverages AI.
  16. 19```
  17. 21After, with this change list:
  18. 23| # | What | Before | After | Rule |
  19. 24| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
  20. 25| 1 | Button color | #1e7b5d | var(--color-primary) | Colors: primary for actions |
  21. 26| 2 | Button font | Playfair Display | var(--font-body) | Type |
  22. 27| 3 | Padding | 18px | 16px (space 3) | Spacing scale |
  23. 28| 4 | Headline | "Revolutionary scheduling that leverages AI." | "Fill your calendar without the phone tag." | Voice: avoid hype |
  24. 30No brand guide yet? `/brand` notices and offers to write `brand.md` with you first.
  25. 32## What it can access
  26. 34- Reads your brand guide (`brand.md`, `docs/brand.md`, or `brand/`).
  27. 35- Writes `brand.md` only if you ask it to create one.
  28. 36- Edits the file you point it at. Those edits go through Claude Code's normal approval, and it asks before touching more than one file.
  29. 37- No scripts, no network.
  30. 39## Setup
  31. 41Install it and type `/brand`. Pairs well with `brand-guide-builder`, `on-brand-check`, and `brand-tokens-export`.
