Install this kit

This kit reads ./data/**, writes to ./data/**, ./out/**, connects to paper-api.alpaca.markets, api.alpaca.markets, data.alpaca.markets and runs node scripts/alpaca.mjs, node scripts/selftest.mjs. Install it?

1. Check what it will do

Not enforced

claude.ai and the Claude desktop app do not enforce the permissions this kit declares. Nothing stops the kit from doing more than it says; Claude's own approval settings decide what it asks you about.
  • Command

Runs the command: node scripts/alpaca.mjs (with any arguments, without asking)

  • Command

Runs the command: node scripts/selftest.mjs (with any arguments, without asking)

  • Network

    Connects to paper-api.alpaca.markets

  • Network

    Connects to api.alpaca.markets

  • Network

    Connects to data.alpaca.markets

  • Reads

    Reads files in ./data/**

  • Writes

    Writes files in ./data/**

  • Writes

    Writes files in ./out/**

  • Environment

Uses the ALPACA_API_KEY_ID environment variable (its value stays on your machine)

  • Environment

Uses the ALPACA_API_SECRET_KEY environment variable (its value stays on your machine)

  • Environment

Uses the ALPACA_LIVE environment variable (its value stays on your machine)

It expects ALPACA_API_KEY_ID, ALPACA_API_SECRET_KEY, ALPACA_LIVE, which are not set in Claude's code sandbox. Steps that need them may not work there.

2. Download it

Download for Claude

Built from the published files after checking the sha256 bd383e1c0ff3… and the platform signature (10aff36bedd43e66). The README inside lists these permissions too.

3. Upload it

  1. In claude.ai or the desktop app, open Customize, then Skills.
  2. Click +, then Create skill, then Upload a skill, and choose the ZIP.
  3. Turn it on. Skills need code execution, under Settings, Capabilities.
  4. Ask Claude for the job the kit does. It picks the skill up on its own.

Rather not upload? Add the connector and ask Claude to use the kit in a chat. Set it up.
